Stacey Cohen, Interior Designer, LEED AP-CI Stacey first opened the doors to Stacey Cohen Designs in Chicago in 2002, two years after completing studies in Interior Architecture at Parsons School of Design in New York. Her reputation for clean, timely work traveled fast; her clients' homes ranged from Gold Coast condominiums to Bucktown brownstones. During this time, she took a hiatus from interiors to train with a New York gallery in purchasing and dealing of fine art. Then, Stacey completed two years of the Masters of Architecture program at University of Illinois. However, Stacey felt it was time to return to interiors. She utilized the Green Build knowledge she attained at UIC to become a LEED AP for Commercial Interiors. Stacey received a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism/Magazine Production and Design from Columbia College Chicago and has worked for corporations such as Banana Republic Home Store, Ligne Roset and MTV – Music Television. She was an independent consultant for production design on various independent films, a marketing specialist and manager of a New York gallery and an Auto-CAD operator for architects and furniture showrooms. For work and study, Stacey has resided in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. A native Detroiter, she also spends time with her family in Southern Florida. She calls Chicago home. stacey@staceycoheninteriors.com |
