Stacey Cohen Interiors, launched in 2002, is a full-service interior design studio, LEED-AP certified and expertly manages consultation, design and implementation for both commercial and residential interiors.
The company is driven by modern utilitarian design principles, but boasts the versatility to handle any aesthetic. Its comfort with evolving interior design practices comes from many hours working with philosophies, methods, sustainable materials and fabrication. They approach every project with care, evaluating the needs of the space and the structure’s strengths to allow the end purpose to direct design and create magnificent, memorable interiors.
A finalist on the fifth season of HGTV’s Design Star, her work has been featured in People Magazine, Chicago Social and Crain’s Chicago Business. Stacey is an architecturally trained, Interior Designer. She earned her degree in Interior Architecture at Parsons School of Design in New York and pursued her Masters in Architectural Studies at the University of Illinois. Her clients include Bowes Active Health Center, MTV, Banana Republic, Chicago Board of Trade and private residences from coast to coast.
Stacey received her bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Columbia College Chicago, she is a contributing writer for Doodle Home and Cheeky Chicago. Her articles have appeared in Today Chicago Woman and Sheridan Road Magazine. While growing up in Detroit, Stacey says she was strongly influenced by her parent’s love of art. Stacey is a active fundraiser for Parkinson’s Disease. She lives and works in Chicago.
